This distinguished cigar is produced in the Dominican Republic, renowned for its rich soils and cigar-growing tradition. Here, tobacco cultivation is an art steeped in generations of expertise, and every leaf is selected with precision.
Leaf Origins & Types

The Aging Process
Time is the true alchemist in the creation of a Davidoff Royal. Each tobacco leaf is not just cured — it is aged for years in specially controlled environments, allowing the flavors to mature into elegance. In some examples of the Royal Release line, premium tobaccos rest for 8–10 years before they’re rolled.
This extended aging imbues the cigar with a silkiness and balance rarely matched — a sensory journey defined by refined aroma, complexity of flavor, and an unmistakable pedigree.

Where It’s Made
At the core of this experience is Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon, distilled, matured, and bottled at the historic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky — one of the most award-winning distilleries in the world.
Grain & Mash
Kentucky bourbon by law must be made from a grain mash of at least 51% corn, and Buffalo Trace embraces this tradition with:

Aging Process
The bourbon is aged in new charred American white oak barrels, whose interior char interacts with the whiskey to develop deep color, vanilla, caramel, and oaky complexity. These barrels rest in century-old warehouses where seasonal Kentucky temperature changes help the spirit breathe into full, round maturity.
While bottles of Buffalo Trace often carry no specific age statement, industry consensus places typical maturation between 6–8 years, with many barrels selected for blending at their peak expression.
